"SubMission"
Prolog
by Beryll & Vagabond

When the day has died
the dead shall rise from stony beds
with white faces
they shall smile
eyes like glass
as they bow
to their masters
from beyond
drinking from the heart of innocence

A world drowning in tears
there is no sleep
in the endless night
no dream unspoiled to cling to
even the bravest shall fall

From eternal dark
shall rise a single light
child of misery
child of a stillborn mother
there is love
in the heart of despair
light shall this child wake
in the heart of darkness as well

The only miracle
is a smile
in the face of defeat
holding on to hope
bringing fire
to the deathly cold
burning away the sin

You can not see it
for it is right in the open
you can not see it
for it is hidden well
you can not see it
for it is marked clearly
you can not see it
for you do not want to

Despair
Despair, you who seeks
you are doomed
as are the rest of us
