Love Beyond Death
* * * * *
The deep looks Aragorn and Boromir gave each other had a deeper meaning
than just two strong men struggling for the pack's alpha-male position. Unspoken
admiration and suppressed desire finally get freed as in Lorien, the two sort
out their feelings. Which, of course, doesn't come easy, and even making love
proves more dangerous than thought.
Giving their own, somewhat differing viewpoints of the same events, they try
to come to terms with the fact that Boromir dies on the slopes of Amon Hen.
(A Brother, Captain and King; A Warrior's Lament)
But, as no true love comes without a happy ending, there is a second chance for them - yet years after the ringwar, how much of a chance do married Elessar and Boromir stand? How will the court react, and most important of all, the Queen Arwen? (Mending Broken Hearts)
