Imagine a distant future. Humanity has gained powers beyond imagination, and almost extinguished themselves as they had to take responsibility for their deeds.

Those who survived have built a new mankind, still powerful, yet at he same time cautious, aware and maybe even wise. Many things have changed, but still there are people needed to protect others. Only now, it's themselves they have to be protected from, or more precise, from the results of their actions. The men and women taking up that duty are called Wardens, and are highly esteemed celebrities of their time.

But for two young of those Wardens, all their powers and skills seem to be of no use as their world breaks apart bit by bit. What at first appeared like a single, arcane crime develops into a whirlwind of impossible events only they seem to be able to notice. Taking us into a world of power and duty, science and mysticism, friendship and betrayal, the two Wardens engage in a race against time, facing a foe more subtle and more dangerous than ever before imagined possible...
